The Transcat Chesapeake, VA Calibration Lab has been serving the Mid-Atlantic region since 2000 as an ISO-17025 Accredited calibration lab. The Chesapeake Lab, formerly Angel’s Instrumentation, was acquired by Transcat in 2018 and continues to serve the area with its high-quality services and unsurpassed customer support. With in-lab and on-site services available, the Transcat Chesapeake Lab offers specialized metrology services for the maritime, naval, automotive, medical, and manufacturing sectors.

Standard calibration services are offered with a 5-day turnaround, with expedited services available such as same day, 1-day, or 2-day options. All services are provided in compliance with our quality system, documented calibration procedures, and the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ANSI-Z540.3.
Transcat Marine Services
The Transcat Marine team takes pride in providing specialized marine calibration services to customers such as the Military Sealift Command, United States Navy, United States Coast Guard, Steam Ship Lines, and more. Our team of highly trained calibration technicians travels with portable instrument standards to calibrate all equipment onboard customer vessels to maintain "Mission Ready" status.
