Culture of Continuous Growth
As the demand for high-accuracy calibration services grew, so did Transcat. We expanded our capabilities throughout the 1980s and 1990s to serve more complex instrumentation needs and introduced ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration services to support regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and energy.
In 1999, Transcat became a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: TRNS), positioning us for accelerated growth and greater investment in infrastructure, technology, and talent.
Through the early 2000’s, we rapidly expanded our lab facilities across North America and focused on strategic acquisitions and investments in automation, mobility, and customer experience.
Today, our network includes 25+ calibration labs across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland, serving thousands of customers in highly specialized sectors.
