Overview

Product Highlights

The NH Research 4600 Series AC Electronic load is designed for test applications that require linear and non-linear AC loading in several emulation modes with power factor and crest factor control. To provide testing under the broadest range of loading conditions, the NH Research 4600-3 AC Electronic load offers 7 different emulation modes. This versatility allows testing with a wide variety of potential field operating conditions to assure reliability of the unit under test (UUT). By providing high accuracy frequency, voltage, current, and other high resolution measurements with precision ranging, the need for external measurement instruments has been eliminated.

The NH Research 4600 Series is now offered in 6 power levels between 3 and 36 kW. Any unit can be field expandable in 3kW increments. The NH Research 4600-3 AC electronic load has a 3kW Power rating with a maximum current of 30A, and a voltage range of 50-350V. Built in is the ability to control current through a user defined waveforms and is supplied with software for a PC softpanel that provides complete instrument control, measurement and waveform display. The NH Research 4600-3 provides high-accuracy frequency, voltage, peak voltage, current, peak current, crest factor, apparent power, true power, peak power, reactive power, power factor and resistance measurements, for testing uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), AC sources, inverters, switches, circuit breakers, fuses and connectors.
