The NEW Cable Verification & Tracing Analyzer Model 6683 quickly locates, identifies and diagnoses electrical cables and metal pipes – even when buried or hidden in the walls. Its transmitter-receiver system combines precision detection, safety and digital clarity for fast, reliable troubleshooting.
Whether identifying a live line, tracing a circuit breaker, or finding a break in a buried conductor, Model 6683 simplifies complex diagnostics into a few intuitive steps. It detects open circuits and interruptions; locates cables in walls, ceilings or underground; identifies the presence of voltage by non-contact voltage (NCV); works in energized or de energized systems (Unipolar/Bipolar); and provides real-time feedback by LCD and audible tone.
If voltage is present, the transmitter warns of the danger and indicates its value. The transmitted signal is digitally coded to avoid interference, and its power can be adjusted manually to fine-tune detection. In complex cases, the identification code configuration allows up to 7 transmitters to be used simultaneously.
The receiver is equipped with a built-in light, a silent mode and automatic or manually adjustable sensitivity settings for greater selectivity to suit all situations on site. The receiver can also be used on its own to locate a live conductor connected to the active conductor (phase) of the electricity distribution network.
