The UNI-T UPO7000LSENT software unlock adds decoding and trigger capabilities for SENT (Single Edge Nibble Transmission) protocol to the UPO7000L Series oscilloscopes. SENT is a unidirectional, point-to-point digital communication protocol commonly used in automotive environments to transmit high-resolution sensor data from components such as throttle position sensors, pressure sensors, and temperature monitors.
With this option, users can decode and analyze SENT messages at the bit level—including fast channel data, slow channel updates, status bits, CRC values, and more.
- SENT Automotive Sensor Bus Triggering and Analysis Option
- For UPO7000L Oscilloscopes
- Trigger on sync pulse, nibble value, CRC, status flags, or frame length
- Decode both fast and slow channel message formats
- Visual overlay of decoded fields on waveform trace
- Support for user-defined tick times and nibble mappings
- Exportable decoded frame logs with time-correlated events
- Long capture support for full system testing or startup event analysis
Applications
- Automotive throttle, pressure, and temperature sensor diagnostics
- ECU integration and validation with real-world sensor data
- EMI validation and noise tolerance testing
- In-vehicle testing and validation of sensor wiring integrity
- Teaching and demonstration of low-level automotive data formats
Each Unit Includes
- 1 - SENT Automotive Sensor Bus Triggering and Analysis Option (UPO7000L-SENT)
